Combat copyright strikes.
SoundLedger is a data management and audio cataloging platform for generating digital proof of ownership, authorship, and license terms for exclusive and non-exclusive audio files in music production.
Works with your data from these (and other) platforms:
Enhanced audio rights management at the points of creation, distribution and consumption.
App tracks audio authorship, ownership, and usage terms. By capturing data at the point of creation (DAW), distribution, and consumption, it bridges communication between creators, licensing platforms, streaming services, and digital providers. This ensures accurate answers to "who can use what and where?" when traditional Content ID get the answer wrong.
Built for control and transparency.
A platform for claiming authorship of audio and cataloging where and how your work is being used in musical productions.
Use Authorization and Licensing
Generate and grant licenses to other platforms and services to stream, sell, and distribute your content and write back to your audio repository when they make a sale, or generate a license on your behalf.
Ecosystem Integration
Verification and data exchange protocols allow third parties to integrate authorship verification, ownership, and license details into their business processes.
Audit Trails
Create comprehensive audit trails for all your audio files. Track the lifecycle from creation to sale and further usage, ensuring transparency and proof of authorship, ownership, and licensing.
Digital Fingerprinting

How much does this cost?
Pricing is something we are currently figuring out. We intend to provide a free offering for encoding license information and fingerprinting audio, with tiered paid plans for additional platform features and large storage requirements.
Am I a good fit for the service?
If you are creating or working with audio or doing sound design, you are likely a good fit for this service. At a minimum, you may want to use our license encoder for protecting your work. We intend to provide this as a free tier, although we cant make any promises just yet. If youa are doing this professionally, you are likely a good candidate for using our licensing encoding technology as well as some of our point-of-distribution and access APIs.
I might be interested in becoming an early adopter but I am unsure exactly what this means and how SoundLedger works. Can you explain it?
Sure, shoot us an email, chat or contact us at on one of our socials. We can answer any questions you might have.
When will the platform be available to the public?
This depends on the feedback we receive from our early adopters. We are currently in the process of onboarding our first users and will be opening up the platform to the public as soon as we can.
